View Your Minecart Item in First-Person

Holding the Minecart

Once you have a minecart in your inventory, simply hold it in your main hand. The resource pack will automatically replace the flat item texture with a detailed 3D model that you can see in first-person view.

Seeing Your Player Inside

When you hold the minecart, your own player character (with your custom skin applied) will appear sitting inside the tiny 3D cart. This happens automatically—no special steps needed. The model renders in real-time as you move and rotate the item in your hand.

Switching Views

You can toggle between first-person and third-person camera modes using your camera perspective key (default: F5). The 3D minecart model displays correctly in both views, so you can see how it looks from behind as well. This is useful for screenshots or just admiring the detailed model from different angles.

Cart Types

All minecart variants—standard, chest, furnace, hopper, and others—receive updated 3D models. Each type maintains its distinctive appearance while being held, so you can easily identify which cart you're carrying.
