Ensure Your Custom Skin Displays in the Minecart

Skin Compatibility

The Hand Minecart Resource Pack uses your player profile's custom skin to render the tiny character model sitting inside the held minecart. Your skin must be properly set in your Minecraft account settings for it to appear.

Verifying Skin Application

Check that your skin is active by looking at your player model in third-person view (F5). If your custom skin displays on your character, it will also appear inside the minecart when held. If you see the default Steve or Alex model instead, your skin may not be properly configured.

Dependency: Hold My Items Mod

This resource pack requires the Hold My Items mod to function correctly. Without it, the 3D minecart model and player character inside will not render. Ensure the mod is installed and enabled in your mod loader before expecting the skin to appear in the cart.

Troubleshooting

If your skin still doesn't show, try reloading the resource pack or restarting your game. Resource packs sometimes need a refresh to load player skin data properly.
