Verify the Totem Texture is Loading Correctly

Check Your Resource Pack Order

If your Totem of Undying still looks vanilla (gold and emerald), the resource pack may not be active or is being overridden.

1. Open your pause menu and go to Options → Resource Packs

2. Look for the Halo Totem pack in the Available list on the right

3. Click the arrow to move it to the Selected list on the left

4. Drag it to the top of the Selected list to ensure it has priority over other packs

5. Close the menu and reload your world

Verify in Inventory

Once activated, grab a Totem of Undying from creative mode or your survival inventory. You should see the Master Chief-inspired sci-fi design instead of the standard gold totem. If it's still not showing, try closing and reopening Minecraft completely. Resource packs sometimes need a full restart to apply properly.

If you have multiple resource packs installed, make sure none of them also modify Totem textures—conflicting packs will cause the lower-priority one to be ignored.
