Use the Totem of Undying Effectively in Survival

How the Halo Totem Works

This resource pack is purely visual—the Totem of Undying functions identically to vanilla. It still activates automatically when you would take fatal damage, as long as it's in your inventory.

1. Carry a Totem of Undying in your hotbar or inventory while exploring dangerous areas

2. When you take damage that would kill you, the totem activates automatically

3. You'll be restored to health and given temporary status effects (Regeneration, Absorption, Fire Resistance)

4. The totem is consumed and disappears from your inventory

Obtaining Totems

You can find Totems of Undying by:

• Defeating Evokers in Woodland Mansions (they drop one when killed)
• Looting Woodland Mansion chests
• Using creative mode to grab one instantly

The Halo-themed appearance doesn't change how rare or valuable the item is—it's still one of the most powerful survival tools in the game. Keep one on you during high-risk activities like cave diving or end-game combat.
