Using the Gold Gun and Amethyst Bullets

The Gold Gun

The Gold Gun is a distinct firearm crafted with gold ingots in a shaped recipe. It is not an upgrade of the Iron Gun — it is a separate weapon with its own handling. Treat it as a sidearm or a specialized tool rather than a replacement for your diamond guns.

Amethyst Bullets

Amethyst Bullets are crafted with amethyst shards as the core. They are the round to pair with the Gold Gun. Load them the same way as any other bullet: hold the gun, have the bullets in your inventory, and fire. Each shot consumes one Amethyst Bullet.

When to Carry the Gold Gun

Because the Gold Gun uses its own ammo type, keep a dedicated stack of Amethyst Bullets in a Bullet Bag alongside it. Do not mix Amethyst Bullets into your main ammo bag — you will lose track of them. The Gold Gun fits well as a backup when your primary gun runs dry, or as a light weapon for travel where you do not want to risk a Diamond Sniper. Craft it once you have spare gold and amethyst, and carry it only when you have the matching bullets to feed it.
