How to Suppress a Weapon and Control Recoil

Choose the right suppressor

Four suppressors exist, and they are not interchangeable across every gun. Fit them at the Gun Table:

• Suppressor — general-purpose suppression.
• LS06 Suppressor — pistol-caliber suppression.
• PBS-4 Suppressor — typical for AK-74M-pattern rifles.
• R2 Suppressor — rifle suppression.

Match the suppressor to the platform. A pistol can on a rifle or a rifle can on a pistol will not give you the result you want.

Stack recoil control

Suppression alone does not make a gun shootable. Combine it with recoil parts on the same Gun Table pass:

1. Fit Compensator or Muzzle Brake if you are not running suppressed.

2. Add a grip — Vertical Grip, Angled Grip, or Folding Grip for control; Ergo Grip, Stubby Grip, or Potato Grip for handling.

3. Add Heavy Barrel for stability.

4. Add Bipod if you fire from prone or a rest.

5. Add Extended (+5) or Extended (+10) for capacity.

Optics for suppressed work

A suppressed build is usually a close-to-mid-range build. Reflex, Holo, Kobra, PK-A, or PKA-S suit it. If you suppress a long-range rifle such as SV98, keep a Rifle Scope, PSO-1, PKS-07, or Variable Zoom mounted instead.

Fit the suppressor first, then the recoil parts, then the optic. Change one thing at a time and confirm the gun still handles the way you expect.
