How to Produce Ammunition at the Bullet Maker

Match the caliber to the gun

The Bullet Maker produces every cartridge in the mod. Before you craft anything, know which round your weapon eats, because a gun with no matching ammo is a wall ornament.

  • AK-74M — 5.45×39mm
  • M16A4, M27 IAR, Scar-L, JGM-4 — 5.56×45mm
  • Scar-H — 7.62×51mm
  • SV98, Hunter, Coyote — 7.62×54mm
  • .338 Magnum and .44 Magnum — magnum revolver/pistol cartridges
  • 12G Buckshot, 12G Dart, 12G Frag, 12G Slug — shotgun loads

Choosing a 12G load

The shotgun shells are not interchangeable in effect:

  • 12G Buckshot — general close-range spread.
  • 12G Slug — single heavy projectile for range and punch.
  • 12G Dart — precision single shot.
  • 12G Frag — fragmenting load for area effect.

Production loop

1. Place the Bullet Maker.

2. Feed it the materials for your chosen caliber.

3. Collect the finished cartridges from the output.

4. Stockpile by caliber in separate chests so you never grab the wrong box mid-fight.

Run the Bullet Maker in batches. Crafting one magazine at a time forces you back to the bench constantly; crafting a full stack per caliber keeps you in the field longer. If you own several guns in different calibers, produce for the one you actually carry, then top up the rest.
