Combine Grayscale Lightmap Shaders with Other Resource Packs

Stacking Packs Correctly

Resource packs load in order from bottom to top in your active list. Place Grayscale Lightmap Shaders at the bottom of your active packs so its lightmap changes apply first, then layer texture packs, UI packs, or other visual mods above it. This ensures the grayscale lighting works as a foundation for your other customizations.

Avoiding Conflicts

If another pack also modifies the lightmap, only the topmost one will take effect. Check your pack descriptions to see what each one changes. Packs that modify textures, particles, or UI elements generally won't conflict with Grayscale Lightmap Shaders.

Testing Your Setup

After adding or reordering packs, reload your world to see the combined effect. Enter caves and check nighttime lighting to confirm the grayscale effect is still visible. If colors seem too saturated, move Grayscale Lightmap Shaders higher in the list, or remove conflicting lightmap packs.
