Crafting the Ender Staff and Magnetic Forcefield

Ender Staff

Craft the Ender Staff using its shapeless recipe. The Ender Staff is its own item, separate from the Grappling Hook. To give it grappling behaviour, apply the Ender Staff Grappling Hook Upgrade through the Grappling Hook Modifier block. Place the Grappling Hook Modifier, insert the Ender Staff and the Ender Staff Grappling Hook Upgrade, then take the upgraded staff out.

Magnetic Forcefield

Craft the Magnetic Forcefield using its recipe. It is a standalone item. To tie it into hook movement, apply the Forcefield Grappling Hook Upgrade to a Grappling Hook in the Grappling Hook Modifier. The Hook Magnet Grappling Hook Upgrade is a separate upgrade item and can also be applied in the same modifier.

Workflow

1. Craft the Grappling Hook Modifier and place it.

2. Craft the Ender Staff and the Ender Staff Grappling Hook Upgrade.

3. Combine them in the modifier.

4. Craft the Magnetic Forcefield and the Forcefield Grappling Hook Upgrade.

5. Apply the forcefield upgrade to a Grappling Hook in the modifier.

Both the Ender Staff and the Magnetic Forcefield are crafted separately from the hook, then brought together with the hook through the modifier.
