Use Themed Portal Frames in Your Builds

Find and Fill Ancient Portal Frames

The Golden Days Mod Compat Model adds themed variants of portal frames. To use them:

1. Locate or place an empty ancient portal frame in your world

2. Gather the appropriate fill material for your desired frame type

3. Place the fill blocks into the frame structure

4. Watch as the frame transforms into its themed variant—such as Magical, Corrupted, Exotic, or Wither frames

Incorporate Into Your Builds

These themed frames serve as decorative and functional elements:

• Use Magical frames for enchantment rooms or wizard towers
• Place Corrupted frames in dark or corrupted biome builds
• Add Exotic frames to tropical or jungle-themed structures
• Build around Wither frames for nether-inspired or dangerous-looking areas

Each frame variant has custom textures that fit the Golden Days retro style, making them visually distinct from vanilla portal frames while maintaining thematic consistency with your world's aesthetic.
