Understanding the Night Cube

The Night Cube is a bauble that equips in your Curios slot and holds spellstones, tomes, and scrolls. Each slot you unlock grants passive magical buffs that stack with your spellcasting.

Unlocking New Slots

1. Equip the Night Cube: Place it in your Curios bauble inventory slot.

2. Gather Unique Magical Items: Collect rare magical items from dungeon loot, mob drops, or crafting.

3. Perform Sacrifices: Open the Night Cube's interface and sacrifice these items to unlock additional upgrade slots. Each sacrifice consumes the item but permanently expands your cube's capacity.

4. Insert Magical Items: Once slots are unlocked, place spellstones, tomes, and scrolls into them for passive bonuses.

Optimization

Check your mod configuration file at .minecraft/config/goeticlegacy-common.toml to see initial slot counts and sacrifice requirements. Moon phase bonuses also affect your magical power, so plan major spellcasting during favorable lunar phases for enhanced effectiveness.
