How to Get Goblin Meat and Goblin Steak

Where Goblin Meat Comes From

Kill any goblin mob to obtain Goblin Meat. The goblin types you can spawn and fight include the Goblin Archer, Goblin Bomber, Goblin Hunter, Goblin Lumberjack, Goblin Miner, Goblin Warrior, Goblin Villager, Goblin Wandering Trader, Wild Goblin, and Zombie Goblin. Each of these is spawned with its matching spawn egg. Zombie Goblins also drop Rotten Goblin Meat, which is the unsafe variant.

Cooking Goblin Meat

Raw Goblin Meat is processed into Goblin Steak using the smelting recipe type. Place Goblin Meat in a furnace with fuel to smelt it into Goblin Steak. The smoking recipe type also applies, so a smoker will convert Goblin Meat into Goblin Steak faster than a furnace.

Do not eat Rotten Goblin Meat raw if you can avoid it — it carries the same risks as other rotten food. If you want to make it safe, run it through the same smelting or smoking process. Keep a stack of Goblin Steak on hand before exploring, since goblin mobs hit hard and you will need reliable healing. A Goblin Knife or Goblin Axe speeds up kills on the weaker goblin types, letting you farm Goblin Meat quickly from a spawn egg you already have.
