How to Craft Dragon Armor and Dragon Elytra

Dragon Gear Set

The Dragon tier includes:

• Dragon Helmet (Flight)
• Dragon Chestplate (Flight)
• Dragon Leggings (Flight)
• Dragon Boots (Flight)
• Dragon Elytra (for crafting)
• Dragon Star (for crafting)

Dragon Star and Dragon Elytra are crafting components, not worn directly. Dragon Star is used in smithing recipes to upgrade gear into the Dragon tier.

Crafting Path

Obtain End Gobber Ingot by smelting or blasting End Gobber Glob from End Gobber Ore. Craft End-tier gear first (End Helmet, End Chestplate, End Leggings, End Boots). Use Dragon Star and Dragon Elytra in smithing_transform recipes to upgrade End armor pieces into Dragon armor. The Dragon armor pieces grant Flight when worn as a full set.

Flight

Wearing the full Dragon set (Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, Boots) enables Flight. This works similarly to creative flight — you can hover and move through the air. Combine with a Medallion of Water Breathing for underwater travel.

Dragon Elytra

Dragon Elytra is a crafting ingredient, not equippable on its own. Use it in the smithing recipe alongside Dragon Star to produce Dragon armor pieces.
