Fishing for Crates: Which Biome Gives Which Crate

Crate type follows the environment you fish in. Frosted Crate comes from cold water. Fiery Crate comes from hot water. Soul Crate comes from soul-themed water. End Crate comes from the End. Gilded Blackstone Crate comes from gilded blackstone areas. Astral Crate is the top-tier crate. Slimey Crate comes from slime-related water. Wooden Crate, Iron Crate, Golden Crate, Diamond Crate, and Supply Crate are the general crates you pull from ordinary fishing at increasing rarity.

Planning a Crate Run

Pick the crate you want, then travel to the biome or condition that produces it and fish there with your best rod. Bring a lure that matches the theme. Fish until you have the crate, then break it at base to open it.

Do not open crates in the field. Carry them home and open them next to your storage so you can sort rods, lures, and fish immediately. If you are chasing Astral Crate, fish with your highest rod and expect a long session. For general crates, ordinary water with a mid rod is enough to start pulling Wooden Crate and Supply Crate.
