Reduce Glitch Intensity for Better Visibility
Access Shader Settings
Open the Shader Options menu while in-game by pressing the key bound to shader settings (default varies by launcher). Look for GlitchFaultShaders in your active shader list and select its configuration panel.
Adjust Distortion Parameters
Locate sliders or toggles controlling:
- Glitch frequency – reduces how often visual errors appear on screen
- Distortion strength – lowers the intensity of terrain and sky warping
- Corruption line density – decreases the number of sharp visual artifacts
- Screen shake intensity – minimizes camera jitter during gameplay
Fine-Tune for Your Preference
Start by reducing distortion strength by 25–50% and observe gameplay. If the effect still feels overwhelming, lower glitch frequency next. Many players find a middle ground where the aesthetic remains but visibility improves significantly.
Test your changes in different lighting conditions—caves, surface, and sky—since glitch effects often vary by brightness. Save your configuration once you find a comfortable balance.
Performance Consideration
Lowering these values may also improve frame rates on lower-end systems, as fewer visual calculations occur per frame.
