Crafting Redstone Glass

Redstone Glass is the redstone-interactive block in the set. Craft it with a shaped recipe that combines Glass with Redstone Dust. The result is a glass block that responds to redstone signals.

Using Redstone Glass in Circuits

Place Redstone Glass where you would place a normal glass block but want redstone behavior. Because it is glass, you can see through it, which helps when debugging circuits or building hidden mechanisms behind windows.

Typical uses:

• Windows that change state when a lever or button is toggled.
• Hidden doors built from Ethereal Glass or Reverse Ethereal Glass, triggered through Redstone Glass.
• Displays where the glass itself is part of the signal path.

Redstone Glass is crafted, not found, so keep Redstone Dust and Glass in your inventory. If you are building a large redstone build, craft several stacks at once.

You can mix Redstone Glass with the other six blocks — Ethereal Glass, Ghostly Glass, Luminous Glass, Reverse Ethereal Glass, Tinted Ethereal Glass, and Tinted Reverse Ethereal Glass — in the same structure. The crafting recipes are all shaped or shapeless and use a crafting table, so no special station is required.
