How to Get Crysium and Make a Crysium Bulb

Obtaining Crysium

Crysium is the base material for the mod's light source. Mine Crysium blocks where you find them in the Glacidus dimension, or break down a Block of Crysium into individual Crysium. Store spare Crysium as a Block of Crysium to save inventory space, then break the block again when you need loose pieces.

Crafting the Crysium Bulb

Combine Crysium into a Crysium Bulb using a shaped crafting recipe. Place the Crysium in the pattern the recipe book shows for the bulb. Once crafted, the Crysium Bulb works as a placeable light block for your base, tunnels, or anywhere you need illumination in the frozen terrain.

Practical Use

Because the bulb is a full block, you can embed it in floors and ceilings for even lighting. Pair it with Underground Planks or Frozen Antinatric Stone Bricks so the light fits the build. If you run low, return to your Crysium source, mine more, and repeat the craft. Keep a stack of Crysium in reserve so you can replace bulbs quickly after mining accidents or creeper damage.
