Getting Aluminum, Silver, Lead, Nickel, Tin, and Platinum

Ore to Ingot Chain

Each metal follows the same chain: find the deposit, mine the ore, smelt the cluster.

• Bauxite → Aluminum Cluster → Aluminum Ingot
• Cassiterite → Tin Cluster → Tin Ingot
• Galena → Lead Cluster → Lead Ingot
• Sphalerite → Nickel Cluster → Nickel Ingot
• Platinum → Platinum Cluster → Platinum Ingot
• Silver Cluster → Silver Ingot

Smelt or blast the cluster in a furnace. Each ingot can be split into nuggets: Aluminum Nugget, Tin Nugget, Lead Nugget, Nickel Nugget, Platinum Nugget, and Silver Nugget.

Where to Look

Bauxite, Cassiterite, Galena, Sphalerite, and Platinum all appear both as surface ore blocks and as Deepslate variants (Deepslate Bauxite, Deepslate Cassiterite, Deepslate Galena, Deepslate Sphalerite, Deepslate Platinum). If your pick reports the ore but you only see stone, dig deeper into the deepslate layer.

Prospect with the Prospector's Pick before committing to a shaft. Collect Samples — Bauxite Sample, Cassiterite Sample, Galena Sample, Sphalerite Sample, Platinum Sample — as confirmation markers, then mine the full cluster and smelt everything in one batch to save fuel.
