Where Deepslate Ores Spawn

Below the stone layer, ore blocks generate in their Deepslate form. The Deepslate variants are Deepslate Hematite, Deepslate Limonite, Deepslate Malachite, Deepslate Azurite, Deepslate Cassiterite, Deepslate Galena, Deepslate Sphalerite, Deepslate Teallite, Deepslate Bauxite, Deepslate Beryl, Deepslate Cinnabar, Deepslate Autunite, Deepslate Kimberlite, Deepslate Platinum, Deepslate Gold, Deepslate Coal, Deepslate Lignite, Deepslate Bituminous Coal, Deepslate Anthracitic Coal, Deepslate Assorted Quartz, Deepslate Lapis Lazuli, and Deepslate Ancient Debris. They behave like their stone counterparts but require a pickaxe strong enough for Deepslate.

Processing Deepslate Ore

Mine the Deepslate ore block and break it down the same way as the stone version to get the Cluster. Deepslate Hematite gives an Iron Cluster, Deepslate Malachite gives a Copper Cluster, Deepslate Cassiterite gives a Tin Cluster, Deepslate Galena gives a Silver Cluster, Deepslate Teallite gives a Lead Cluster, Deepslate Sphalerite gives a Nickel Cluster, Deepslate Bauxite gives an Aluminum Cluster, Deepslate Kimberlite gives an Osmium Cluster, and Deepslate Platinum gives a Platinum Cluster. Deepslate Gold yields Gold, and Deepslate Ancient Debris yields Ancient Debris.

Planning a Deepslate Trip

Bring the Prospector's Pick, plenty of torches, and a blast furnace setup at your base. Scan for readings, mark Sample blocks such as Deepslate Hematite Sample positions, and strip-mine along the ore vein rather than branching randomly.
