Finding and Mining Ancient Debris with Geolosys

Locating the Deposit

Ancient Debris generates as a Geolosys deposit rather than scattered single blocks. Prospect deep with the Prospector's Pick until it reports Ancient Debris nearby. You may first surface an Ancient Debris Sample, which confirms a deposit is present in the area.

Once located, dig down to the Ancient Debris blocks and mine the full cluster. The deposit also produces Ancient Debris Clump, which is the processed intermediate you carry back for smelting.

Processing the Clump

Smelt or blast Ancient Debris Clump to obtain the netherite-scrap equivalent output used in your progression. Because Ancient Debris is rare, do not leave partial clusters behind — clear every block the pick flags before moving on.

Pair your Ancient Debris run with a Platinum deposit trip, since Platinum ore and Platinum Cluster appear in the same deep layers and are worth hauling home in the same expedition. Bring plenty of fuel: Deepslate Anthracitic Coal and Bituminous Coal Coke keep the furnace hot for the whole batch.
