Geno Mons includes 12 regional variants with unique evolution methods. Alolan Grimer and Muk, Hisuian Growlithe and Arcanine, and Galarian Darumaka and Darmanitan each have distinct requirements. Galarian Darmanitan features Zen Mode, a special ability that changes its form and stats under specific battle conditions. The Galarian legendary bird trio (Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres) have unique fighting styles reflecting their regional adaptation.

Evolution Requirements

Regional forms typically evolve through standard leveling, but some require specific items, locations, or conditions. Check your Pokédex for evolution details specific to each regional variant. Bloodmoon Ursaluna is exceptionally rare and may require special conditions or locations to encounter and evolve. Experiment with evolution stones, held items, and level thresholds. Some regional forms may only evolve in particular biomes or times of day. Use your Pokémon's move pool and stats as clues—regional forms often learn region-specific moves that hint at their evolution method.
