Planting Growing Blocks

Several blocks grow over time and provide decoration or grazing: Growing Grass, Growing Tall Grass, Growing Fern, Growing Large Fern, Growing Allium, Growing Azure Bluet, Growing Blue Orchid, Growing Cornflower, Growing Dandelion, Growing Oxeye Daisy, Growing Rose Bush, and Growing Sunflower. Place these blocks where you want the plant to establish, then let them mature into their full form. They are useful for building natural-looking pastures and flower meadows around your animal pens.

Combining with Animal Areas

Set Growing Grass and Growing Tall Grass inside pastures so grazing animals have ground cover. Line pen edges with Growing Rose Bush, Growing Sunflower, or Growing Allium for color. Patchy Grass Block and Patchy Mycelium Block pair well with growing plants to create a worn, lived-in look in high-traffic areas. If you keep rabbits, plant Growing Dandelion nearby, since rabbits interact with vegetation. For turtles, keep sand and Turtle Egg blocks separate from dense flower growth so eggs stay reachable. Water growing flowers only if the surrounding terrain supports them; otherwise place them on suitable soil. Harvest or relocate mature plants when you want to reshape a pen, and replant Growing blocks to start new patches elsewhere.
