How to Craft and Use Soul Fire, Soul Torches, and Soul Campfires

Crafting Soul Light Sources

Craft a Soul Torch by combining a Torch with Soul Soil in a crafting recipe. Soul Fire is created by igniting Soul Soil with flint and steel or a fire charge. A Soul Campfire is crafted from Soul Soil, sticks, and wood logs in a shaped recipe. A Soul Lantern is crafted from a Soul Torch and iron nuggets.

Placement and Effects

Place Soul Torch, Soul Lantern, and Soul Campfire on Soul Soil or any solid block. They emit a blue light. Soul Fire burns on Soul Soil and does not spread to other blocks. Use Soul Campfire for cooking food without a furnace; it works like a regular campfire but with a soul flame. Soul Lantern can be placed hanging from a block or standing on top. These light sources are useful in the Nether or for blue-themed builds. Soul Soil itself can be mined in the Nether and used as a base for these blocks.
