Crafting a Full Matching Wood Furniture Set

What a Wood Set Contains

Each of the five wood types — Acacia, Bamboo, Birch, Cherry, Crimson — has the same 15-piece family. Learn one and you can build the others identically.

The 15 pieces are: Bedside Table, Bench, Cabinet, Chair, Crate, Kitchen Cabinet, Ladder, Log Bench, Pedestal Table, Shelf, Shutter, Square Table, Stool, Table, Wardrobe.

Note that Crimson has no Bedside Table in the registry, so a Crimson room uses 14 pieces. Plan around that if you are matching a bedroom.

Building the Set in Order

1. Start with Stool and Chair — smallest footprint, cheapest in material.

2. Add Bedside Table and Shelf for surface space.

3. Build Table, Square Table, and Pedestal Table for the centre of the room.

4. Add Bench and Log Bench for seating along walls.

5. Build Crate and Cabinet for storage.

6. Finish with Kitchen Cabinet, Wardrobe, Ladder, and Shutter for the walls and verticals.

All fifteen are made through the furnish:furniture_making recipe type using the matching wood. Keep a single wood type in your inventory while crafting so you do not mix Acacia into a Birch set.

If you want a room that reads as one material, do not skip the Ladder and Shutter — they are the pieces that tie the walls together, and they are easy to forget until the room already looks finished.
