Switch Between Native and Borderless Fullscreen

Understanding the Modes

Native fullscreen uses your graphics card's exclusive display mode for maximum performance. Borderless fullscreen fills your monitor without taking exclusive control, allowing easier window switching.

Steps

1. Open Options in Minecraft

2. Click Fullscreen Settings

3. Find the Fullscreen mode dropdown menu

4. Select either Native display or Borderless display

5. Confirm and close the menu

When to Use Each

Choose Native if you want the highest frame rates and lowest input latency, or if you play competitive games where performance matters most.

Choose Borderless if you frequently alt-tab, use multiple monitors, stream, or need to interact with other windows without minimizing the game.

You can switch between modes anytime without restarting Minecraft. Your preference is saved automatically to the mod's configuration file.
