Why Hide During Loading

Minecraft's loading screen can distract from other tasks during startup. This feature keeps the game minimized in your taskbar until the world or menu fully loads, then automatically brings it to focus.

Steps

1. Open Options and select Fullscreen Settings

2. Locate the Start loading screen minimized toggle

3. Enable this option

4. Close the settings menu

You can also control whether the loading screen itself appears in windowed or fullscreen mode using the Loading screen option in the same menu. Choose:

• Windowed to keep it in a regular window
• Fullscreen to fill your monitor
• Follow default to match your other display preferences

These settings are useful if you're launching Minecraft while working on something else and don't want the splash screen interrupting your focus.
