How to Use Quest Barriers, Stage Barriers, and Quest Detectors
Quest Barrier
The Quest Barrier is a block that blocks movement until a specific quest is completed. Place it in a doorway or corridor. Link it to a quest using the Task Screen Configurator. Players who have not completed that quest cannot pass through. Once the quest is complete, the barrier becomes passable for that player.
Stage Barrier
The Stage Barrier works like the Quest Barrier but checks for a stage instead of a quest. Stages are set by the pack author or by commands. Place a Stage Barrier and assign the required stage. Players without that stage are blocked.
Quest Detector
The Quest Detector is a block that emits a redstone signal when a quest is completed. Place it next to a door, piston, or other redstone component. Link it to a quest with the Task Screen Configurator. When the linked quest is completed, the detector powers the redstone circuit.
Combining Barriers and Detectors
Use a Quest Detector to open a door automatically when a quest is done, or use a Quest Barrier to block a path until the quest is finished. Stage Barriers are useful for gating content behind progression stages rather than individual quests.
