How to Cut Ice into Decorative Blocks

From Ice to Cut Ice

Cut Ice is the starting point for the mod's ice building set. Take ice and process it into Cut Ice, then feed that into a Stonecutter to unlock the full shape range.

Stonecutter Outputs

Put Cut Ice in a Stonecutter to cut:

• Cut Ice Slab
• Cut Ice Stairs
• Cut Ice Vertical Slab

A second tier, Cut Ice Cubes, cuts into its own family:

• Cut Ice Cube Slab
• Cut Ice Cube Stairs
• Cut Ice Cube Vertical Slab
• Cut Ice Cube Wall

Using the Set

Cut Ice and Cut Ice Cubes are two distinct looks — the plain cut version is cleaner, while the cube version has a blockier pattern. Use Cut Ice Stairs and Cut Ice Cube Stairs for frozen staircases, Cut Ice Slab and Cut Ice Cube Slab for low platforms, and Cut Ice Cube Wall for icy barriers. Vertical slabs let you build thin ice panels that normal slabs cannot match. Because everything comes from the Stonecutter, you can convert a single stack of Cut Ice into whichever shape your build needs without wasting material.
