How to Build with Compacted Snow Bricks

Crafting the Base Block

Compacted Snow Bricks are the core building block of the mod's snow set. Start by gathering snow and compacting it into the brick form. Once you have Compacted Snow Bricks, you can expand them into a full family of shapes at a Stonecutter.

Place Compacted Snow Bricks into a Stonecutter to produce:

• Compacted Snow Brick Slab
• Compacted Snow Brick Stairs
• Compacted Snow Brick Vertical Slab
• Compacted Snow Brick Wall

Each shape is cut directly from the brick block, so you never need a separate crafting recipe for them. The Compacted Snow Foundation is a related block used as a base layer beneath your builds.

Building Tips

Use Compacted Snow Brick Vertical Slab where you want a thin wall that still reads as a full block from the side. Compacted Snow Brick Stairs work for rooflines and stepped paths. Compacted Snow Brick Walls are best for fences and railings around a snow fort. Combine slabs and full bricks to vary height without breaking the snow palette. The whole set shares one texture family, so mixing shapes keeps a build visually consistent.
