The Framed Cube Is the Root

Most Framed shapes are produced through the framedblocks:frame recipe type, which converts one Framed block into another. Start by crafting a Framed Cube, then use it as the input for the shape you actually need.

Converting Shapes

Place a Framed Cube in a crafting grid together with the appropriate ingredients to produce variants such as Framed Slab, Framed Stairs, Framed Panel, Framed Corner Slope, or Framed Double Slab. The framedblocks:frame recipes cover 217 of the mod's blocks, so nearly every shape traces back to the cube.

Use framedblocks:rotate_shape (42 recipes) when you want to reorient a shape you already have — for example turning a Framed Slope into a differently facing slope — instead of crafting a new one from scratch. Standard crafting_shaped (181 recipes) and crafting_shapeless (33 recipes) handle the remaining conversions and the tools.

Practical Loop

1. Craft Framed Cubes in bulk.

2. Convert cubes into the shapes your build needs.

3. Rotate shapes with the rotate_shape recipes when orientation is wrong.

4. Apply camo with the Camo Applicator.

This keeps your inventory light: carry cubes and a few key shapes, and convert on site.
