Make an Enchanted Golden Apple from Scratch

Gathering Gold and Emeralds

Enchanted golden apples are rare and powerful, but Forged Rarities lets you craft them without raiding end cities. You'll need gold blocks and an emerald block as your primary materials.

Mine or smelt enough gold ore to create multiple gold blocks—each requires nine gold ingots. You'll also need at least one emerald block, which requires nine emeralds. Emeralds can be obtained through trading with villagers or mining in mountainous biomes.

Crafting the Enchanted Apple

Gather a regular apple from oak or dark oak leaves. In your crafting table, arrange your gold blocks around the apple in a specific pattern: typically the apple sits in the center with gold blocks surrounding it, and the emerald block completes the recipe.

The exact placement follows a traditional crafting grid layout. Once combined, you'll receive your enchanted golden apple—a valuable item that grants absorption hearts and other beneficial effects when consumed. This approach eliminates the need to search through dangerous structures.
