Craft a Totem of Undying for Safety

Preparing Gold and Emerald Blocks

Totems of Undying are invaluable for survival, especially in dangerous situations. Forged Rarities allows you to craft them using emerald and gold blocks instead of hunting through woodland mansions.

Collect nine emeralds to craft one emerald block, and gather gold ingots to create gold blocks. You'll need multiple gold blocks depending on the recipe—plan ahead if you want to make several totems.

Creating Your Totem

Bring your emerald block and gold blocks to the crafting table. Arrange them according to the mod's recipe: the emerald block typically occupies a central position with gold blocks arranged around it in a symmetrical pattern.

Once crafted, place your totem in your off-hand slot. It will automatically activate when you take fatal damage, restoring health and granting temporary effects like regeneration and fire resistance. This crafting method is significantly more accessible than exploring mansions, allowing you to maintain multiple totems for different adventures or share them with teammates.
