Craft a Complete Chainmail Armor Set

Gathering Chain Materials

Chainmail armor is one of the most sought-after craftable sets in Forged Rarities. Unlike vanilla Minecraft, you no longer need to hunt through loot chests—you can assemble a full set at your crafting table using chain items.

Start by collecting chain blocks or items. These can be found in the Nether or crafted from iron nuggets if other mods provide that recipe. You'll need enough chains to create boots, leggings, chestplate, and helmet.

Crafting Each Piece

Place your chain items in the crafting grid following the standard armor shape patterns:

• Helmet: Arrange chains in the top two rows, leaving the center bottom empty
• Chestplate: Fill the top and middle rows, leaving the center column open
• Leggings: Place chains in the left and right columns across three rows
• Boots: Use chains in a small 2×2 pattern

Each piece requires the same number of chains as their iron or diamond equivalents. Once crafted, your chainmail armor provides solid protection and a distinctive metallic appearance. This method is far faster than exploring multiple structures.
