Enhance Water Reflections and Clarity

Locate Water Settings

Access the shader configuration menu and find the water or reflection section. This controls how water surfaces interact with light and reflect the environment.

Increase Reflection Detail

Raise the water reflection quality slider to see more detailed reflections of the sky, clouds, and nearby blocks on water surfaces. Higher settings create mirror-like water but demand more GPU resources. Balance this with your frame rate needs.

Adjust Water Transparency

Modify the water clarity or transparency value to control how far you can see through water. Increase transparency to see deeper into oceans and rivers; decrease it for murkier, more atmospheric underwater views.

Control Wave and Ripple Effects

If available, adjust wave intensity to make water surfaces more or less animated. Subtle ripples look natural; stronger waves add visual interest but can be distracting during building.

Test Different Lighting Conditions

View water at sunrise, midday, and sunset to see how reflections change. Test in both shallow and deep water to ensure the effect looks good across your world.
