How to Survive When an Animatronic Corners You
React Immediately
If you find yourself face-to-face with an animatronic, don't freeze. You have seconds to act. Your options are: run past it if there's space, close a nearby door, or find a hiding spot. Hesitation will end your shift.
Know When to Run vs. Hide
Running works if you have a clear path to another room with a closeable door. If you're blocked or cornered, look for hiding spots—some rooms contain places where animatronics won't find you immediately. Use these moments to let the threat pass.
Use Doors as Last Resort
Closing a door buys time but won't hold forever. An animatronic will eventually break through. Use this window to escape to another area or find a better hiding spot. Never trap yourself in a room with only one exit.
Stay Calm and Listen
Panic leads to poor decisions. Once you've found temporary safety, listen carefully to determine where the animatronic is moving. Sometimes staying still and quiet is your best survival strategy.
