From Hide to Rotten Leather

Rotten Leather is the final product of the FleshZ processing chain. The path is Hide to Prepared Hide to Rotten Leather. Start by placing any Wood Rack: Acacia Wood Rack, Bamboo Wood Rack, Birch Wood Rack, Cherry Wood Rack, Crimson Wood Rack, Dark Oak Wood Rack, Jungle Wood Rack, Mangrove Wood Rack, Oak Wood Rack, Spruce Wood Rack, or Warped Wood Rack.

Step by Step

First, load Hide onto the rack and let it cure into Prepared Hide. Collect the Prepared Hide once it is ready. Next, take the Prepared Hide and process it again to produce Rotten Leather. This second step uses the same rack or a crafting recipe, depending on how you have your setup arranged. The result is Rotten Leather, which you can then use in crafting recipes that call for it.

Scaling Up

Because each rack processes one Hide at a time, a single rack is slow for bulk work. Build a row of racks, one per Hide, and cycle through them. Keep a supply of Hide in a nearby chest and a separate chest for finished Rotten Leather. Any wood type works, so use whatever wood you have in abundance. If you have a nemos-woodcutter available, you can also cut wood into rack components more efficiently than crafting each rack by hand.
