How to Craft a Wood Rack in FleshZ

Pick Your Wood Type

FleshZ adds eleven Wood Rack blocks, one for each wood type: Acacia Wood Rack, Bamboo Wood Rack, Birch Wood Rack, Cherry Wood Rack, Crimson Wood Rack, Dark Oak Wood Rack, Jungle Wood Rack, Mangrove Wood Rack, Oak Wood Rack, Spruce Wood Rack, and Warped Wood Rack. Each is crafted from its matching wood material, so gather logs or planks of the type you want before starting.

Crafting the Rack

Open a crafting table and arrange your wood materials in the shaped recipe for the rack of your chosen type. The recipe is shaped, meaning the position of the materials in the grid matters. Once crafted, place the Wood Rack block wherever you want to store or display hides.

Using the Rack

Wood Racks are the foundation of the FleshZ hide-processing chain. Place a rack, then use it to hold Hide while it cures. Hide is the raw material you obtain from mobs, and Prepared Hide is the intermediate product you get after processing. Rotten Leather is the final output used in further crafting. Keep at least one rack of each wood type if you plan to process large batches, since each rack holds one hide at a time. Bamboo, Crimson, and Warped racks use their respective wood sets, so gather those materials from the Nether or bamboo groves as needed.
