How to Craft and Throw Bombs

Basic Bomb

The Basic Bomb is your entry-level explosive. Craft it using common materials found in the mod, then throw it at groups of undead to clear them quickly. It works well against clustered spawns in graveyards and tombs.

Specialized Explosives

Once you have Ectoplasm and Holy Sludge, upgrade to Ghost Bomb and Holy Grenade. The Ghost Bomb is effective against spectral enemies like the Foglet and Ghost Swarmer. The Holy Grenade deals bonus damage to undead and is ideal against bosses such as Death, Famine, Pestilence, and War.

Throwing Tips

Right-click to throw. Aim at the ground near a mob's feet so the blast radius catches it. Do not throw inside your own base — the explosion damages blocks. Carry a stack of Basic Bombs for routine clearing and save Holy Grenades for boss fights. Pair bombs with the Ankh Scepter to lock enemies in place before detonating.
