How to Cook Modded Fish and Meat

Raw Catches

Several mobs in the mod drop raw food that must be cooked before eating. These include Bone Trout, Lamprey, Piranha, Swarmer, and Parasite. Catch them with a Bucket of Bone Trout, Bucket of Lamprey, Bucket of Piranha, Bucket of Swarmer, or Bucket of Ghost Swarmer, or kill them directly for drops.

Cooking Methods

Use a furnace, smoker, campfire, or blasting to process these. Smelting and smoking both yield Cooked Lamprey, Cooked Piranha, Cooked Swarmer, and Cooked Parasite. Campfire cooking works too if you are out in the field. For Bone Trout, cook it the same way you would cook any fish.

Enigmoth Caterpillar cooks into Cooked Enigmoth Caterpillar. Ptera Wings cook into Fried Ptera Wing. Mimicrab Claws cook into Baked Mimicrab Claw. Farmers Delight cooking recipes also accept several of these ingredients if you have that mod loaded, letting you turn them into full meals. Always cook before eating — raw versions restore less hunger and may carry effects.
