How to Grow Bananas and Pineapples

Bananas and pineapples are the fruit crops of the mod, and both grow through visible stages you can harvest.

Bananas

Banana plants grow from Banana Shoots into a Banana Stem with Banana Leaves and a Banana Blossom. The fruit appears as a Barely Ripe Banana Cluster, which ripens into a Banana Cluster you can harvest for Bananas. Plant Banana Shoots on soil and let them mature; harvest the cluster when it is fully ripe.

Pineapples

Pineapples grow on the ground. A Crownless Pineapple is the starting stage, which develops into a Crownless Ripe Pineapple Block. Harvest the ripe block for fruit. Keep the crown to replant.

Using the Harvest

• Eat Bananas and Pineapple fruit directly, or store them for later.
• Use Banana Leaves and Banana Stem as building and decoration blocks around your farm.
• Replant Banana Shoots and pineapple crowns immediately after harvest so the next crop is already growing.

Practical Tips

• Plant in a fenced plot so you can see ripe clusters at a glance.
• Harvest the whole cluster at once and replant in the same trip.
• Keep a few Bananas aside for crafting rather than eating them all.
