How to Craft and Use Fish Plaques

Fish Plaques are wall-mounted display blocks for showing off your catches. There are 13 wood variants: Acacia Fish Plaque, Bamboo Fish Plaque, Birch Fish Plaque, Cherry Fish Plaque, Coconut Fish Plaque, Crimson Fish Plaque, Dark Oak Fish Plaque, Jungle Fish Plaque, Mangrove Fish Plaque, Oak Fish Plaque, Pale Oak Fish Plaque, Spruce Fish Plaque, and Warped Fish Plaque.

Framed Variants

Each wood type also comes in four framed versions: Copper Frame, Iron Frame, Golden Frame, and Gilded. For example, Copper Frame Oak Fish Plaque, Iron Frame Oak Fish Plaque, Golden Frame Oak Fish Plaque, and Gilded Oak Fish Plaque. The frame tier changes the look of the plaque, so pick the metal that matches your build.

Placement

Place a plaque on a wall like a sign or item frame. Once mounted, use it to display a fish. Combine the plaque with the fish you want to show. If you want a matching set, craft the same wood type across all four frame tiers and swap them out until you like the result.

Building a Display Wall

Line up plaques of the same wood type in a row for a uniform gallery, or mix woods to color-code by fish species. Framed variants work well as centerpieces, with plain plaques filling the surrounding wall.
