Every fish in the mod has a cooked form, and cooking is the fastest way to turn a catch into reliable food.

The Cooked Fish List

Cooked Ancientscale, Cooked Battlegill, Cooked Devilfish, Cooked Islehopper, Cooked Plentifin, Cooked Pondie, Cooked Splashtail, Cooked Stormfish, Cooked Wildsplash, and Cooked Wrecker. Each corresponds to a raw fish you pull up while fishing.

Cooking Methods

Use a furnace, a smoker, or a campfire. A smoker processes fish fastest, which matters when you return with a full inventory. A campfire lets you cook on the move without carrying fuel-heavy equipment.

Storing Your Catch

Cook fish before putting them in chests so they stack as finished food. Keep raw fish separate if you plan to mount them on plaques instead.
