Growing and Using Pineapple Seeds

Pineapple Seeds are the mod's farmable crop item. They are the only seed item in the registry, so if you want to grow something from the mod on your farm, this is what you plant.

Planting

Craft or obtain Pineapple Seeds, then plant them on farmland the same way you would plant wheat or carrots. Keep the farmland hydrated and lit so the crop can grow. Once mature, harvest the pineapple and replant the seeds to keep the farm going.

Why Farm Pineapples

Farming gives you a renewable supply without needing to explore for wild plants. A small plot near your base keeps you stocked while you work on other projects. Pair the farm with a composter or a chest nearby so harvested crops have somewhere to go immediately.

Combining with Fishing

If you are also cooking fish, keep the pineapple farm close to your kitchen area. A single Furnace, Smoker, or Campfire can handle both cooked fish and any pineapple-based recipes you use, so you are not running between distant stations. Expand the plot as your needs grow.
