How to Use Buckets, Charms, and the Mudhorse Pouch

Bucket Every Catch

Right-click a live creature with a Bucket to capture it. This works for Flatback Sucker, Banded Redback Shrimp, Blu Wee, Pea Wee, Wee Wee, Vibra Wee, Papa Wee, High-finned Blue, Teal Arrowfish, Ornate Bugfish, Golden River Ray, Night Light Squid, Phantom Nudibranch, Penglil, Gopjet, Swamp Mucker, Red Bull Crab, White Bull Crab, Spindly Gem Crab, Baby Horatee, and Flatback Leaf Snail. Each yields a matching bucket item such as Bucket of Baby Horatee or Bucket of Golden River Ray.

Release a bucket into water to place the creature. This is how you move rare catches to a home pond or aquarium.

Charms and Pouches

Craft an Empty Charm and fill it by interacting with a creature to bind that creature type to the charm. Charms let you reference a caught species without carrying the live animal.

Craft the Mudhorse Pouch from Mudhorse Leather. It expands your carrying capacity for catch-related items. Combine the pouch with buckets and charms so a single trip covers capture, transport, and storage. Keep spare Empty Charm items in your pouch before heading out.
