How to Build with Shell Bricks and Spindly Gem Blocks

Process Shells into Bricks

Collect Flatback Shell and Pebble Shell from catches. Craft them into Flatback Shell Bricks and Pebble Shell Bricks at a Crafting Table. From those base bricks you can craft Flatback Shell Brick Slab, Flatback Shell Brick Stairs, Pebble Shell Brick Slab, Pebble Shell Brick Stairs, and the decorative Pebble Shell Pillar.

Combine shell types to make Mixed Flatback Shell Bricks and Mixed Pebble Shell Bricks, plus their Mixed Flatback Shell Brick Slab, Mixed Flatback Shell Brick Stairs, Mixed Pebble Shell Brick Slab, and Mixed Pebble Shell Brick Stairs variants. For a carved look, craft Chiseled Flatback Shell Bricks, Chiseled Pebble Shell Bricks, and Chiseled Siderol Shell Bricks. Siderol Shell Bricks also have their own Siderol Shell Brick Slab and Siderol Shell Brick Stairs.

Use Spindly Gem Blocks

Gem crabs drop colored gems. Craft them into Block of Spindly Amber, Block of Spindly Emerald, Block of Spindly Gem, Block of Spindly Pearl, Block of Spindly Ruby, and Block of Spindly Sapphire. These blocks are decorative and can be combined with shell bricks for accent walls. Flatback Shell Block and Flatback Shell Slab/Stairs round out the palette.
