Surviving Scary Encounters and Jump Scares
Expect the Unexpected
This map is designed to frighten. Scary events may trigger when you enter certain areas, collect tapes, or reach specific locations. Stay mentally prepared rather than panicked—jump scares are part of the experience.
Manage Your Surroundings
Keep your render distance at a comfortable level. Too far and you may miss details; too close and you might miss approaching threats. Adjust brightness settings if the darkness is overwhelming, but remember that low visibility is intentional to the atmosphere.
Stay Calm During Events
When something frightening happens, remember it's scripted. Continue moving forward and exploring—the map won't trap you permanently. Use these moments to observe what the map is trying to communicate through its scares.
Use Sound to Your Advantage
Creepy audio is a warning system. If sounds intensify or change dramatically, something significant is nearby. Rather than running away, investigate carefully—important story elements and tapes often appear at these moments.
