Finding All Hidden Tapes in the Forest
Search Systematically
The forest is large and tapes are deliberately hidden. Don't rush through the map. Move slowly along the main path and into side areas, checking behind trees, inside hollow logs, and near structures.
Use Your Surroundings
Tapes are often placed in thematic locations that match the story. Look for:
- Abandoned buildings or cabins
- Areas with unusual decorations or disturbing arrangements
- Spots where the forest looks deliberately altered
- Dead ends and clearings off the main path
Listen Carefully
The map uses audio cues to guide you. When you're near a tape, you may hear subtle sounds or the environment may feel different. Pay attention to changes in ambient noise—silence or new sounds often signal you're close to something important.
Mark Your Progress
Keep track of which areas you've explored thoroughly. The forest can be disorienting, so consider placing blocks or mental landmarks to avoid searching the same spot twice. Once you've collected several tapes, patterns in their locations may become clearer.
