How to Craft and Use Planters

Planters are the main decorative containers for growing and displaying flowers. The mod includes Acacia Planter, Birch Planter, Dark Oak Planter, Black Planter, Blue Planter, Cyan Planter, and Crimson Stem Planter.

Crafting a Planter

Planter recipes are crafting_shaped. Combine wood-type materials with the appropriate dye or wood block to produce the planter variant you want. For example, a Black Planter uses black dye, a Blue Planter uses blue dye, and a Cyan Planter uses cyan dye. The wood-named planters (Acacia, Birch, Dark Oak, Crimson Stem) follow the same shaped pattern using their respective wood planks.

Placing Flowers

Place a planter on a solid block, then place a flower block on top of it. Flowers such as African Daisy, California Poppy, Cosmos, Dahlia, Fuchsia, and Gladiola can sit in planters. Use planters to line paths, windowsills, and garden beds without needing dirt underneath. Break the planter to recover it; the flower on top drops separately.

Vases

Black Vase, Blue Vase, and Cyan Vase are the smaller decorative counterparts. Craft them shaped with the matching dye and place them the same way as planters for a tighter arrangement.
