Decorating With Bamboo and Grasses

Bamboo and grass blocks give vertical structure and ground texture to garden builds.

Bamboo

Black Bamboo is the plantable bamboo block. Bamboo Black Item, Bamboo Golden Item, and Bamboo Groove Item are the associated item forms used in crafting. Plant Black Bamboo in rows along walls or as a screen between garden sections.

Grasses and Ground Cover

Beach Grass, Blue Eyed Grass, Dry Shrub, Clover Leaves, Clover Flowers, Duckweed, Duckweed Bunch, Frogbit, and Frogbit Flower cover open ground and water edges. Place Duckweed and Frogbit on water surfaces; place Beach Grass on sand and Dry Shrub on coarse ground.

Combining With Flowers

Run Black Bamboo behind a row of Blue Tinsel Lily, Blue Eyed Grass, and Commelina for a cool-toned border. Use Clover Leaves as a base layer, then set Bellflower Left and Bellflower Right or Blue Alyssum Left and Blue Alyssum Right on top for a layered edge. Finish corners with a Black Vase or Blue Vase holding a single bloom.
