How to Get Seeds and Start Farming Crops

Find Seeds

Seeds come from several sources. Break grass and tall grass to find Cabbage Seeds and other crop seeds. You can also find seeds in loot chests and by breaking mature crop plants.

Plant and Grow

Till soil with a hoe near water, then plant seeds on the farmland. Crops grow through stages and can be harvested when fully mature. Replant seeds from each harvest to keep the farm running.

Crops You Can Grow

• Cabbage: grows from Cabbage Seeds. Harvest Cabbage, then cut it on a Cutting Board into Cabbage Leaf.
• Tomato: grows from Tomato Seeds on a Budding Tomato Vine. Harvest ripe tomatoes.
• Onion: grows from Onion Seeds. Store in an Onion Crate.
• Rice: grows in water from Rice Seeds.
• Beetroot: grows from Beetroot Seeds. Store in a Beetroot Crate.
• Carrot: grows from Carrots. Store in a Carrot Crate.

Store Your Harvest

Use Crates to store bulk crops: Cabbage Crate, Carrot Crate, Beetroot Crate, Onion Crate. Use Baskets and Bamboo Baskets for smaller loads. Keep a Cutting Board near your farm so you can process Cabbage and other crops into usable parts right after harvest.
